WE ARE BRILLIANT LABS
Brilliant Labs is a not-for-profit, hands-on technology and experiential learning platform based in Atlantic Canada. We support the integration of creativity, innovation, coding, and an entrepreneurial spirit within classrooms and educational curricula.
To provide every child in Atlantic Canada with the opportunity to have access to new technologies and programming to create, innovate and inspire a future that offers sustainable growth in community and social/environmental entrepreneurialism.
THIS IS US!
We're here to help educators, youth and communities innovate and inspire a spirit of entreprenurialism.
We are happy to introduce you to Brilliant Labs. A grass-roots organization founded in New Brunswick has been working, together with our partners, to transform K-12 education in Atlantic Canada.
This school year we introduced an After School program, a micro-accreditation system to help teachers, students, and parents keep track of a student’s progress with digital skills and competencies, the newest release of our Open Source b.Board rapid prototyping platform, IDE, and Open Source Cloud Service and saw Brilliant Labs invited to the UK by the Micro:Bit Foundation to share it with educators from around the world. We’ve also launched a re-engineered project sharing web app so teachers, libraries, and community centres can share the exciting student led projects being done throughout the region.
Today, during this unprecedented time, our region and the world is being disrupted. To help, our team has been steadily creating new content for future learning while challenging youth to stay engaged and continue learning at home through online #MakerFun daily challenges.
We welcome you to share in the maker centric movement to create innovative learning practices for teachers and students throughout our region.
