LET’S MAKE A VIDEO GAME (PART 6 OF 10) MATH MULTIPLY GAME
Here’s a short video but an important concept in programming with Scratch. This video covers BROADCASTING. I like to think of broadcasting as simply a way that characters (sprites) in a game communicate with each other — they broadcast (send and receive) messages. These messages are important to the game — for example ‘start game’ – but the person playing the game never hears the broadcast. This is a great bit of code to add in your games. So, watch this video, and keep on building your game.
This is part 6 of 10 — so you’re getting close to the end! I hope you are enjoying building with Scratch. Remember, if you have any questions, let us know via Twitter @kimDesveaux or via email: email@example.com
