NOVA SCOTIA STUDENTS’ GAMES ARE ROLLING IN! TEAMS ARE ENCOURAGED!
With only 18 days to go in the Scratch Game competition excitement is building! Yes, we’ve already received some great games designed by students in Nova Scotia. We’ve also had lots of inquiries and a couple of questions. The big question seems to be ‘Can I work with a partner?’ And the answer is YES!! Game building in teams is fun – so go ahead and work with a friend. Teams of two or three are encouraged to enter too…and of course each member of the winning team will receive a prize.
The final submission date is FRIDAY, June 3, 2016, so don’t wait until the last minute. Start building your games today! Remember to check out our great Scratch tutorials found by clicking on the ‘knowledge base’ tab at www.brilliantlabs.ca.
To submit your game, be sure to share the project from your Scratch account. Remember to ‘SHARE’ your project by clicking on the tab at the top of the game. (https://wiki.scratch.mit.edu/wiki/Project_Sharing )
For inspiration, you can also check out our fabulous sponsor www.theredspace.com — yes, they actually build games for Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network — and they are located right here in Nova Scotia.
